student credit card reviews,First birthday coming up... I need my blog readers help!

Okay, so in about two months, my babies are going to be one! THAT IS CRAZY TO EVEN TYPE! WOW, what a year so far and there are still two more months. So crazy. I guess it doesn't feel that far along because their adjusted age is just over 7 months.

So as many of you planners know, you need time to put these things together. And with quads and the holidays all coming up, time is something that is limited to say the least. That is why i am getting started now.

BUT I NEED YOUR HELP! I am somewhat creative but for sure not really creative. I am offering a 20$ gift card to either Target or Starbucks (the winner can choose) for the best idea for a "theme" for my quads first birthday that i use. I have some ideas but i dont "love" any of them. I thought i would solicit your help. After reading Jen Murray's contest idea, i thought this would be a good way to get some creative help, by reaching out to our readers. But there are a few things to keep in mind when picking an idea for their party.... Guidelines follow...

- Their birthday is January 16th, which is right smack dap in the middle of RSV season AND winter.
- There will be no going outside and there will be no kids
- It will only be a small close friends and family gathering
- Im on a budget to say the least, so nothing over the top
- I can elaborate pretty well with ideas but its coming up with the ideas that i struggle with
- Remember, two boys and two girls, so nothing gender bias

We also realize the quads birthday is RIGHT after the holidays, so many will be burned out of celebrating. But i am only having kids once and they are only having a first birthday once, so i want it to be special.

We plan on having a bigger party with more friends (with kids) in July for their half birthday (no presents at that one, just good company and fun). I know, thats crazy you say but January birthdays are not ideal (no offense to all those out there that have them). Especially with RSV season being around. So we wont always do things this way but for this year, we will.

Originally i wasnt going to post all the ideas until we selected but we decided to post them anyways :) Thanks again, as always, for the wonder comments too. We have the best readers.

As for the kids, they are good, really starting to get into things. Reid is so quick that when I walk into the kitchen through the baby gate, she almost gets through because she is right on my heals (and she is bite size). She gets so proud of herself too. Brady is kinda crawling, its like a hop crawl and trey has mastered backwards. Hopefully forward is in the near future for him, hes so patient though compared to the others with it. Cameron is really starting to rock and i think wants to crawl out of pure desire to get Reid back for all the toy stealing. They both just watch eachother, sometimes laugh, sometimes looks that could kill, hillarious. Girls, Girls.

The time change was not the greatest thing. At first i was tempted to pack up and move back to AZ where they dont have it. But they have adjusted now, of course Brady is the one fighting it the most, as always. That boy is so stubborn. Hes all jokes and giggles but not when its something he doesnt want to do.

Enjoy your weekend, your ideas are welcome. I look forward to reading them :)

The kiddos in Reid's crib. Our dear friend Ashley, who nannies for the kids half the day,two days a week so i can work on my new business and my non-profit organization took this photo when she went to get the kids up to eat. They were all awake and hanging out so she put them in the same crib while she made bottles. So sweet! Plus they just love her so its all smiles all the time when she take photos :) (C, T, B, R)

"Hello ladies!" by boy Trey, such a sweetheart, even though the poor baby is working on number 3 and 4 on the top row teeth-wise.

My love bug, Cam, those sweet dimples and big eyes, i just want to pinch her cheeks all the time!

Reid being her cute self, seen here momentarily NOT into something or some place she shouldnt be.

Brady, what can i say about his long eye lashes and oh so blue eyes, he melts my heart every day. He is such mamas boy but he also throws the BIGGEST tantrums for me too. He wants mama to have it all, good and bad :)

Poor baby girl, Cam had a little bit of a hard time with the time change.

The kids love table time, eating, after eating, petting the dogs and feeding them (the dogs are going to be 400 lbs each soon) and playing with toys. So we snapped some shots...
Brady being his sweet self.

Cam in one of her MANY cupcake outfits. Robbie has called her cupcake from day one, and that is to this day what she answers to. GREAT!

This week, the kids started waffles as part of their breakfast. They get their normal rice cereal and fruits but we added frozen organic mini waffles in place of biter biscuits. They love them, they are cold and they get little pieces off at a time. But by the end, its all about making a mess, as illustrated below.
Brady will only eat solid foods (cereal, waffles) if he can do it himself, otherwise he will spit it out. Very stubborn.

Cameron showing how NOT to be a lady when eatting :)

Trey likes to take his apart at the end, as he does with EVERYTHING (toys, wipes, etc). I fear for my electronics later in life.

Reid with a fake smile, not too interested in the camera this day :)

XO Case

PS spell check isnt working so i apologize for spelling errors. But i have to sneak in a shower and some cleaning while the kids sleep.
